Sept. 1st - Private room available in a 3-bedroom townhouse in the Southpoint La Jolla neighborhood, about a 5-minute drive to UCSD and 10 minutes to Scripps Pier. The room is $1,300/month plus a flat $200/month that covers all utilities, high-speed Wi-Fi, streaming services, gardening, and shared household supplies, so the total is $1,500/month all-inclusive. The room can be furnished with a full-sized bed, nightstand, and desk, or unfurnished if you have your own furniture. The townhouse also has in-unit laundry, central heating, a fireplace, garage/storage space, a patio, and access to a nearby pool and jacuzzi. The Nobel Trolley Station is about a 5-minute bike ride away. You would be living with me (I work at Birch Aquarium) and one other roommate who recently completed his PhD at Scripps Research. We're looking for someone friendly, considerate, and comfortable with a social but respectful household. Pets may be negotiable depending on the pet and situation. The room is available month-to-month through December 7th, when our current lease ends. There may be an opportunity to stay beyond that date, but it is not guaranteed and would require applying and qualifying for a new lease with any remaining/new tenants.
