It is 1.5 miles to the UCSC entrance and about the same distance to the Santa Cruz Wharf and Cowell's Beach. The SC Metro 11 bus to and from campus stops at nearby Mission Plaza every half hour (both ways). Entertainment, restaurants, shops, Trader Joe's, the main SC Metro station and everything downtown Santa Cruz has to offer are just a short walk away so you really wouldn't need a car but one off street space is available at no charge. There is also street parking by city permit. The apartment is approximately 630 sq feet, while the bedroom is 11' x 10.5' (it could fit two twin beds) and there are three closets.
